Russia alleges that twenty people died by Ukrainian drone attacks

(MENAFN) Russia stated on Tuesday that Ukrainian drone attacks last week resulted in the deaths of 20 civilians, including one child. In addition, 85 people, seven of them minors, were reportedly injured, according to the Foreign Ministry’s Special Envoy Rodion Miroshnik, as stated by reports.

Miroshnik emphasized that Ukrainian forces deliberately targeted journalists. A media crew from Rossiya Segodnya came under attack in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, killing journalist Ivan Zuyev and seriously wounding his colleague Yuri Voytkevich.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 55 Ukrainian drones operating across several Russian regions overnight.

Incidents included a local resident being injured in Rostov-on-Don when a Ukrainian drone crashed nearby, damage to an apartment building in Bataisk, and a teenager in Bryansk region being hurt by debris from another drone strike.
