The Russian Defense Ministry stated that nearly 300 drones were launched during the assault and that the majority were destroyed or intercepted by air defense systems. Officials said the attacks were spread across more than a dozen regions, describing the incident as one of the largest drone operations reported in recent months.

At the same time, Ukrainian media outlets presented a different account, suggesting that the scale of the drone launches was even higher and that some targeted areas included the Russian capital region. These claims could not be independently verified due to the ongoing conflict.

Russian regional authorities reported that several industrial sites were affected. In one area, a fire broke out at an industrial zone containing an oil refinery, though officials later said the blaze was brought under control and that no casualties were reported there. Authorities indicated that the facility was among the intended targets of the attack.

In another region, an enterprise involved in electrical equipment production was struck, resulting in injuries to several people, according to local officials. Additional reports indicated damage to nearby residential buildings, leading to evacuations and disruptions in transportation and public services.

Ukrainian officials have not yet issued an official response to the claims.
