UAE Shoots Down 3 of 4 Iranian Missiles

(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates successfully intercepted three of four ballistic missiles fired from Iran toward the country on Monday, with the fourth projectile falling harmlessly into the sea, the UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed.

The ministry stated that the interceptions took place over the UAE's territorial waters, accounting for the loud sounds reported across scattered areas of the country in the aftermath of the aerial engagement.

Authorities moved swiftly to address public concern, urging residents to rely exclusively on official sources for information, verify facts before sharing, and comply with all public safety directives upon receiving warning alerts.

The UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority also issued an urgent advisory, confirming that air defense systems were actively responding to the missile threat and calling on residents to remain in secure locations and monitor official updates closely.

The interceptions mark a significant escalation in hostilities between Iran and the UAE, thrusting one of the Gulf's most strategically vital nations directly into the line of fire amid rapidly deteriorating regional security conditions.
